What kind of a lesson am I getting?
You will receive one to one tuition for the duration of your lesson.

Can I share my lesson with a friend or family member?
Yes, but we do cap group numbers to a maximum of 4 to a lesson.
Are these lessons suitable for complete beginners?
Yes, absolutely.
What if I can skate a bit already?
If you have some previous skating experience you may enjoy brushing up your skills and learning some new ones. Because these are private lessons the content can be adjusted to suit your ability level.
What if I have passed skate UK grades or am currently on a skateUK course?
You can take advantage of these lessons too. If you need some extra help with part of your grade syllabus or if you need a routine to complete the final part of your skateUK gold.
What ages can join in?
We can accomodate skater from 5 or 6 years of age upwards, however it is advisable that skaters under 7 years old are accompanied on the ice (yes...with skates on) by a parent/guardian/responsible adult.
Are these lessons for adults and children?
Whether you are 6 or 66 you can book one of our lessons.
I don't have a paypal account, how can I purchase my lesson?
You don't need a paypal account to buy your lesson, just your debit or credit card to make the secure payment online.
How do I know who my instructor is?
Your instructor (Marika or Vitaliy) will collect you from the rink side entrance near the ice rink cafe area.
They will be identifiable from their National Ice Skating Association licence tag bearing this logo.
What should I wear?
Ice rinks are cold and it is particularly important for youngsters to be dressed warm.
However, everyone would benefit from wearing trousers or jeans or a tracksuit, a sweater and a pair of gloves.
Sport socks are also a good idea to keep feet comfortable.
Scarves and hats are not permitted on the ice.
Is there somewhere I can put my valuables while I'm on the ice?
Lockers are provided by the Ice Rink for a small fee.
Can I take pictures on the ice?
Cameras and all mobile devices (phones, any kind of MP3 player etc) are not permitted on the ice.
Anyone wishing to take photographs in the ice rink needs to sign in to the child protection register at the ice rink reception.
What happens if I'm late because there was a big line for getting into the rink?
It is best to arrive well ahead, but if you get your skates on you can still enjoy the remainder of the lesson.
Your equipment will still be checked by your instructor.
What happens if the ice rink closes unexpectedly?
We advise anyone travelling to the rink to call the rink to check that it is open for Public skating.
