Something for everyone
Ice skating sports all start with the same basic necessity for skill balancing on a pair of skates. Once you’ve mastered that, there are 3 Olympic sports to choose from, Ice Hockey, Short and Long track Speed Skating and Figure Skating with it’s 4 sub-disciplines of Free Skating, Ice Dance, Pairs and Synchro.
Best known for it’s apparently effortless gliding and breath-taking jumps and spins, Figure Skating is the point where Sport and Art meet.
Figure Skating is a chance to be expressive and individual, but requires great stamina, strength and flexibility to excel.
Incredibly fast paced action, team work and hard knocks. Ice Hockey is a sport for the fast and the furious.
The best of the best must train hard to out-skate and out-skill their opponents.
